National Association Independent Private Investigators Fraud
Here we go again with Net Detective’s questionable business practices. What the heck is wrong with these guys. One of their affiliates has even gone so far as to issue a press release that claims they are endorsed by “National Association Independent Private Investigators“.
Who? Well, I searched all over and finally found this elite organization and here is an excerpt from their stellar website “NAIPA is intended to be an informal unincorporated association of individuals who share a common interest in the accessibility and free flow of data and information across the Internet. Professional licensing is not a requirement of the organization. There are no fees or formal membership involved.” So, basically it is just some guy who put up a website (and not even a very good one) claiming that he is the organization. WOW net detective you sure have the backing of some high powered people there! On the net detective site they have this claim of being endorsed by this organization all over the place.
You would think they would provide one link or even explain who these people are. In my opinion this is out and out fraud. I can’t stand this type of marketing, it gives the investigation industry a bad name. Do you now what the real shame is? It is the fact that they have to resort to this fraud to sell their product. It is a collection of links! To be perfectly honest it isn’t that bad of a collection either. If they were honest with people and told them exactly what they were getting, I would have no problem with them. But, they have to resort to dishonesty and that is what kills me. As I have said in the past if you need public records or want to find information just use a search engine like Google.
